With 6 weeks on the books and 3 more to go: the playoff picture is starting to take some misshapen being, but things are not defined by any means….except we have our first Playoff bound team.
Going into the night 3 teams had identical records for first place, License to Roll kept their dominating ways by defeating Bocce-Ka-Bow-Wow 17-9 and keep it rolling (no pun intended) against the Mumbling Skulls 21-3. Segals did their part to keep up by defeating the Ball Bustahs 11-8 on their only game of the night. With their 2 wins License to Roll becomes the first team of the season to clinch a playoff berth.
Days of Thunder fell back a step by losing to Revenge of Wah16-15, but right their ship immediately by defeating Swim, Bike, Bocce 21-8. The latter also made a statement that they are not going to give in that easily by taking the game versus That’s How We Roll 18-7.
Team Schweddy can’t seem to find their winning ways by losing 19-11 against That’s How We Roll, and another bad performance against Joey & The Pussycats who won their second game of the season 19-12 with help of Oscar the dachshund.
The girls from Meatballs show why they are not in last place any longer and not going down without a fight by defeating Revenge of Wah 15-7 and showing it was no fluke versus Bocce-Ka-Bow-Wow 20-8. Bocce Said She Was 18 tripled their opponents score 21-7 behind some sharp-shooting rolls versus What Up Biocce?
What Up Biocce? was able to split the night by winning against the last place and winless Mumbling Skulls 18-13.
